Polished is a fairly new upscale nail salon located in the Shavano Park area of San Antonio offering various nail services. I kept seeing their ad on Facebook and Instagram and was in dire need of a manicure so I decided to give them a try.
I made an appointment for two (one for me and one for my sister) at 3:00 pm and when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly front desk receptionist who quickly checked us in for our appointment. The colors are limited compared to other nails salons that I’ve been to, but I believe that some of the nail polish colors come from trade shows, so it’s more of a unique custom color which I love.
I had the pleasure of working with Lu, and she did a really pretty holographic coat over my light purple lilac color that I picked out. While the holographic is nice, I will say that it did chip very easily on my nails so I ended up doing just a regular shellac manicure with a natural pink color instead.
They offer wine, sangria, mimosas, margaritas, water and other beverages, and I love a good margarita! All in all, I did like Polished and would recommend giving this place a try.
